If Bobby Simone’s Restaurant and Bar isn’t already high on your list of favorite Doylestown nightlife destinations, come this spring, it should be. And while the restaurant side already enjoys a sterling reputation on the Bucks County culinary scene, their accompanying bar, just across the brick sidewalk at 52 East State St., is about to introduce fresh elements in hopes of attracting any and all patrons through their welcoming doors.
“We’re trying to create a truly multi-generational environment,” explains Mike Conti, the general manager of the facility, on the recent efforts to welcome anyone, young or old. “We want both the bar and the restaurant to be inviting and comfortable for any age group.”
As a start, the bar was renovated in January. With a new paint job and interior stonework decorating the walls, all in an effort to make both sides of the business complimentary, customers who frequent either side will now find both familiar.
