DOG OF THE MONTH - Connor

If there’s any dog true to his breed in town, Connor is it: energetic, smart, loyal, loving and just a tad – well, perhaps more than a tad at times – mischievous. Even his name is a testament to his temperament. Only a couple weeks before Connor entered Seth Frank’s life, Frank watched a young boy at the Quakerbridge Mall, after being called by his mother, run up to her, stop just short and then take off in another direction. He too was a Connor, and when the four-legged namesake came home to Frank, the parallel was easily drawn.

And while that name stuck for a lifetime, Connor has earned other monikers as well. During his days in Lambertville, Connor once decided that a boat in the Delaware needed investigating. Paddling out to a group of shad fisherman, the crew quickly dubbed him “Shadoggie.”

These days, Connor is more of a landlubber, spending his days chasing tennis balls at CB West or cavorting with his friends at doggie day care. Other times, he accompanies Frank to his office, where he likes to lounge around. Or destroy all the cardboard he can find – whatever his mood calls for.
